Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This meme was created because they are particularly fond of lists over at The Broke and the Bookish.  They  love to share their  lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!  So, every week, a topic is posted. Bloggers create their Top Ten List based on the topic.
This week's topic :  Top Ten Favourite Authors
Here is my list , in no particular order
1.  William Shakespeare
2.  John Steinbeck
3.  Sandra Brown
4. Joy Fielding
5.  Barbara Delinsky
6. Sharon Sala
7. James Patterson
8. Nicholas Sparks
9. John Lescroart
10Robert Munsch
Have you read any of my favourite authors? Do you like them? Who are your favourite authors?  I would love to know!

Next week the topic is: Top Ten Books I'll NEVER Read .   ( I imagine next week's post will generate a few comments....lol!)

  1. I've read Shakespeare in high school. I have some books on my to read list that are penned by Sparks and I have a book (Zoom!) by Munsch that was given to me by a friend. Sophie Kinsella is one of my favourite authors.

  2. Hi Lu-
Stopping in to become a "friend." I have read all of your authors with the exception of Munsch unless I just don't put him with a book.
I like Sala, Patterson and Sparks as well as others there.
    Have a great week!

  3. @ Marie - I attempted a Sophie Kinsella novel once, but couldn't get into it. It may have been my mood though. I have heard she is great from a few people. I will try her again in the future.

@Martha - Thanks for stopping by! Robert Munsch is a children's author. He has numerous books. Some off the top of my head are The Bot in the Drawer, Stephanie's Ponytail, I Have to Go!, Thomas' Snowsuit, Alligator Baby, The Paper Bag Princess, Smelly Sox, Love You Forever. There are so many!
