Thursday Thirteen

Earlier today I heard of a blog meme called Thursday Thirteen.  Basically, the only rule is that you list thirteen things relating to a theme.  What theme? What do you list? Anything you want. Pick a topic, make a list, and then link up. It seems pretty simple to me, like something I can handle right now.

13 Books I Have Read and Loved  (in no particular order)
  1. TOMMYLAND by Tommy Lee
  2. The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band by Tommy Lee, Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars and Neil Strauss
  3. Hidden Wives by Claire Avery
  4. i'm not her by Janet Gurtler
  5. Still Alice by Lisa Genova
  6. The Green Mile by Stephen King
  7. Mockingbird by Kathryn Erskine
  8. This is Where I Leave You  by Jonathan Trooper
  9. Thirteen Reasons Why  by Jay Asher
  10. Envy by Sandra Brown
  11. Love Story by Erich Segal
  12. Oliver's Story by Erich Segal
  13. Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
WOW, that was easy! I could have easily thought of 13 more.  I'll save that for another Thursday though!

  1. It's ages since I did a Thursday Thirteen. I thought I'd see if there were still people doing it. Amazingly, I found the site is still running!

  2. The negative: Although the name Tommy Lee rang a bell, I had to Google it to remind myself of the band (maybe it's because I'm getting old, maybe it's just that I haven't had my coffee yet).

The positive: Now I'll have all those Motley Crue tunes stuck in my head all day!

  4. @ rashbre - Thanks for stopping in and checking out my post. I appreciate you having taken the time to comment!

I had just heard about Thursday Thirteen, and loved the idea of it. I just had to create a list of my own. I am going to check your blog and see if you posted a list as well.

  5. @ Ron. - getting old or not having had your coffee yet? I happen to suffer from both of those....lol!
Yes,in my opinion having Motley Crue songs stuck in your head is definitely a positive. I mean it could be much worse. You could have Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, or Lady Gaga songs playing in your head repeatedly! (I respect that they have a talent, but just don't like their music.)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am going to head over and check yours out too!

  6. @ garagebandfan - I have loved Of Mice and Men ever since I had to read it for a high school English class quite a few years ago. I still have that copy, and re read it every year or two.
Ah yes, I do love Tommy Lee. He is on "my list". What list you ask? I will save that for another post, though I am only supposed to have 5 on the list....hehe! Maybe I can have a list of 13 candidates for my list!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I already checked out your post, and enjoyed it!
